Air conditioner went out while on vacation. They got me right in. Repairs where affordable.

Minor issue with the rear bearings going out. Major factor to be observed was the personal touch Mike's gives. We have taken our cars there for years, no problems. Sure there are trolls that have personalities they feel need to be publicly posted to satisfy themselves. Mike's even takes the time to address belligerent customers. Do your best Mike's, the right people will stand behind you.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable techs! I brought my car in, prior to buying it, and had a pre-buyers inspection done. Mike's Auto looked over my car from bumper to bumper, letting me know the true shape my car was in. I will never buy another car without taking it to Mike's first. Have been going through Mikes for awhile now and as always we get great service. Staff are very polite and friendly each visit. We have taken multiple vehicles over the years and they do great work as well as being informative on explaining different situations and options. Highly recommend to all our family and friends.

I am driving a Subaru with almost 280K. Mike did a bunch of work on the car in 2012. Haven't needed anything but oil changes and tires since. He does good work.

My personal experience was very satisfying. We've had our BMW and Chevy truck serviced here since we first moved to Idaho. The first 'wow' factor I noticed is when we took our BMW in for a power steering issue. They test drove it, filled the fluid and tightened some thingie within a few hours - at no charge because it was a simple fix. That impressed me. I respect the guys behind the counter - honest and I believe fair. I am sure that there are 'cheaper' places for labor and I am sure if I read those cheaper places reviews I would read about some disgruntled person who received lousy service as well. I am old enough to know you cannot be completely happy, every time with every experience. Yet so far I have not been disappointed with the promptness of attention and quality of work. On a personal note, I'm not a facebookie, so I had to read the reviews before I posted mine. I got a great giggle when I read John's review and the other negative reviews because they were not what I experienced. John, it sounds like you needed your medication. What person would call an owner, even hunting down a home phone, during off hours to get service? If a IHop was closed because you wanted pancakes would you call the owner at home to find out why? Sounds to me like there is something personal in that review. This is my personal review and not a critique of others. I've been to disappointing shops and what I have experienced at Mikes for these last two years is not one of them. Yeah, they may not be pretty (but what of old downtown Nampa is), but the service is great and the people fair. I did love our emailed review of the Chevy truck that we had just purchased and asked them to inspect. We didn't have to 'trust' them on what they said, we received pictures, quotes and a prioritization list of repairs needed. When we went to the shop these items were explained to us to give us an informed decision on how we wanted to proceed. Experience, the quality of work and what we asked for all came together here. I actually am the one who asked Mike's to provide me a place to write this review because I was so impressed (I guess to some I might be to easily impressed but to those who know me I am not) with the expectations met that I would heartily recommend their services.
